Queen of Babble by Meg Cabot

Lizzie Nichols has big mouth that frequently gets her in trouble. After her latest slip-up almost lands her would-be boyfriend in jail, she knows she has to leave. Unfortunately she's visiting him in England. Luckily her best friend is just across the Channel in France. Hilarity ensues as she navigates falling for a taken man, helping save a wedding and finishing that pesky thesis on the history of fashion.

Highly Recommended

Well, this isn't a book written for 13-year-old girls. This is a book written for adult women. If you went to the library and saw the book on the shelf, it would be in adult fiction. I would hope that Barnes and Noble, or whatever bookstore you went to, would have it shelved similarly.

I am glad that as a parent you are taking an interest in what your daughter reads. You can see some reviews on Amazon that address your concerns. Meg Cabot's website also lists the books as Contemporary Adult Novel.
